Today we’re going to learn about how one thing can become many!

When we talk about just one thing, we use a singular noun.
Example- I took one book from the library.

When we talk about more than one, we use a plural noun.
Example- I took three books from the library.

Let’s explore the different ways we can change singular nouns into plural nouns.

Understanding Singular and Plural

A singular noun names one person, place, animal, thing, or idea:

– one dog

– one book

– one child

A plural noun names more than one:

– two dogs

– many books

– three children
