The Lost Puppy
During a rainy afternoon, Maya heard soft whimpering coming from behind her garage. She discovered a small, wet puppy hiding under some bushes. Maya’s mother helped her dry the puppy with warm towels and gave it some food. They put up “Found Puppy” posters around the neighborhood. Three days later, their neighbor Mr. Thompson recognized his missing puppy, Buddy. Maya was sad to say goodbye but happy that Buddy found his way home.
