A Day at the Space Museum
Last weekend, Sarah’s family visited the National Space Museum for their annual Space Festival. The enormous building was shaped like a silver spaceship, with giant windows that reached from floor to ceiling. Inside, real spacesuits worn by astronauts floated in glass cases. Sarah was fascinated by the meteorite collection, which included a piece of rock that had traveled millions of miles from Mars. In the planetarium, they watched a spectacular show about black holes and distant galaxies. The most exciting part was the anti-gravity chamber simulator, where visitors could experience what it feels like to be in space. Before leaving, Sarah tried freeze-dried ice cream in the museum café – it tasted strange but interesting! Her father bought her a telescope from the gift shop so she could stargaze at home. That night, Sarah dreamed about becoming an astronaut and exploring the mysteries of space.
