🦁 WHAT ARE WILD ANIMALS?

Wild animals are animals that live in nature all by themselves. They do not live with people in homes. They find their own food, build their own homes, and take care of themselves without any help from humans.

Why are they called “WILD” animals?

  • They are not tamed or trained by people
  • They live freely in forests, jungles, oceans, and deserts
  • They are born in nature and grow up in nature
  • They can take care of themselves

🌍 WHERE DO WILD ANIMALS LIVE?

Wild animals live in different places called habitats. Here are some habitats:

1. FORESTS & JUNGLES

  • Tigers, elephants, monkeys, bears, deer
  • These places have lots of trees and plants
  • Animals can hide and find food easily

2. OCEANS & SEAS

  • Whales, dolphins, sharks, octopus, fish
  • Water animals live here
  • They swim and find food underwater

3. DESERTS

  • Camels, snakes, lizards, foxes
  • Very hot and dry places with sand
  • Animals here can live without much water

4. MOUNTAINS

  • Snow leopards, mountain goats, eagles
  • High, cold places with rocks
  • Animals here have thick fur to keep warm

5. GRASSLANDS

  • Lions, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs
  • Open areas with grass and few trees
  • Many animals live together here

🐘 EXAMPLES OF WILD ANIMALS

LION – The king of the jungle! Lives in grasslands of Africa. Has a big mane and roars loudly.

ELEPHANT – The biggest land animal! Has a long trunk and big ears. Lives in forests and grasslands.

TIGER – Has orange fur with black stripes. Lives in forests of Asia. Very strong and fast!

MONKEY – Swings from tree to tree! Lives in forests. Eats fruits and nuts.

GIRAFFE – The tallest animal! Has a very long neck. Lives in African grasslands.

ZEBRA – Looks like a horse with black and white stripes. Lives in grasslands.

BEAR – Big and furry! Can be brown or black. Lives in forests and mountains.

WHALE – The biggest animal in the world! Lives in the ocean. Very friendly!
