- 100 = One hundred

- Every hundred has a special name
- We just say the number + “hundred”
- Like: 1 hundred, 2 hundred, 3 hundred!

Imagine you have:
- 5 full boxes of 100 crayons each = 500 crayons
- Now you get 1 more crayon = 501 crayons!
That’s how we go from 500 to 501! We keep counting just like before! โจ

Think of numbers like LEGO blocks! ๐งฑ
Three Special Parts:
- HUNDREDS place (How many groups of 100?)
- TENS place (How many groups of 10?)
- ONES place (How many single ones?)

- The “Five hundred” part stays the same!
- Only the last two digits change!
- It’s just like counting 1-99, but with “five hundred” in front!

Step 1: Look at the FIRST carriage (Hundreds)
- 7 = “Seven hundred”
Step 2: Look at the SECOND carriage (Tens)

Step 3: Look at the THIRD carriage (Ones)
- 6 = “Six”
Step 4: Put them ALL together!

โญ Tip #1: The Zero Trick
When there’s a ZERO in the tens place, we skip it!
Examples:
- 507 = Five hundred seven (NOT “five hundred zero seven”)
- 604 = Six hundred four (NOT “six hundred zero four”)
- 809 = Eight hundred nine (NOT “eight hundred zero nine”)
โญ Tip #2: The Hyphen Helper
Always put a hyphen (-) between tens and ones!
โ RIGHT: Twenty-one, Thirty-five, Forty-eight โ WRONG: Twenty one, Thirty five, Forty eight
โญ Tip #3: No “And” Needed!
We don’t use “and” in number names!
