Rocks & Minerals: The Explorer’s sheet

This worksheet is designed to help the students to dig deeper (figuratively) for more information on rocks and minerals. It encourages the child to become more aware of the world around them, understand the problems and seek solutions.

It is need of the hour for all of us to take steps beyond reading about conservation of natural resources. There is enough awareness and all information is available at the click of a button. What is required is to take concrete steps to implement conservation ways. Governments and authorities alone cannot drive it, till we all individually decide and take action to save these depleting resources. Unfortunately, people have a fancy bucket-list of places to visit, things to own…but steps to reduce carbon footprint or conserve earth do not make to anyone’s list.

You will not see any change if you will not change.
