When there’s a ZERO in the tens place, we skip it!

Examples:

507 = Five hundred seven (NOT “five hundred zero seven”)

809 = Eight hundred nine (NOT “eight hundred zero nine”)

⭐ Tip #2: The Hyphen Helper

Always put a hyphen (-) between tens and ones!

⭐ Tip #3: No “And” Needed!

We don’t use “and” in number names!
