When there’s a ZERO in the tens place, we skip it!

Examples:

  • 507 = Five hundred seven (NOT “five hundred zero seven”)
  • 604 = Six hundred four (NOT “six hundred zero four”)
  • 809 = Eight hundred nine (NOT “eight hundred zero nine”)

โญ Tip #2: The Hyphen Helper

Always put a hyphen (-) between tens and ones!
